Who We Are

Housing First offers secure, long-term housing as the starting point—not the end goal—for individuals with multiple and complex needs. The only requirement is a willingness to commit to a tenancy. The home is provided for as long as it’s needed.

This service is designed for people who have experienced homelessness and find it difficult to maintain stability without ongoing support.

What We Do

We provide housing stability alongside personalised, long-term support. Each individual shapes their own journey—deciding what support they need, how it’s delivered, and at what pace.

Our Aims

We focus on building independence and wellbeing within the safety of a secure tenancy. Our support includes:
• Helping individuals gain the skills and confidence to manage their tenancy
• Preventing repeat homelessness
• Promoting personal safety and reducing risk
• Supporting health awareness and self-management
• Encouraging self-determination and reducing involvement in the justice system
• Strengthening community connections and reducing isolation
• Facilitating access to addiction and mental health services
• Providing clear, accessible care and support plans

How We Work

We collaborate with each person to set meaningful goals and connect them with the right services—from health and social care to housing and community support. There’s no time limit—recovery is personal, and we’re here for the long haul.

Accessing the Service

Housing First is available through professional referral only. Referrals are made by Housing Needs Assessment Officers within Falkirk Council Housing Service. If eligible, Transform Forth Valley delivers the support.
